How To Live In The Moment : The Benefits Of Mindfulness

To live in the moment is more important than any thing.  As the book (movie) peaceful warrior describes, "There are no ordinary moments in the world", how true it is?. Yes! very true and if you practice yourself to live in the moment everything in life will become easier and you can surmount any situations that comes your way. The concept of mindfulness simply means to live in the world and not just exist in the world.



What is the difference between living in the world and existing in the world ?

"Live Don't Just Exist" you have heard this phrase some times before and you might or might not know the actual meaning.  Thoughts defines the variation between these two words. Existing is about not being aware of what is going around us whereas Living is about seeing the things as it is and enjoying the present moment.  The key is to have peace in every situation. If you can attain peace by just simply seeing a door or a wall, you can find peace elsewhere. 


How to Be Mindful ? 

Breathe and Meditate. Yes breathe and watch how you breathe. It is not necessary to spend some dedicated time for meditation daily.   Because breathing is a part of meditation. Breathe in and breathe out, when you watch your breathe and observe that when you breathe in you are inhaling positive energy and when you breathe out, you are releasing all the negative energies that you are holding for a long time. To make it more simple when you inhale just assume that the positive energy in the form of air is blue in color and the negative energy being released is red in color. After 2 minutes you will start observing peace and became aware of your own self and that is how you become mindful. That is how mindfulness is achieved. Also I suggest you to sit at lease 25 minutes to dedicate to do meditation.
